✨ WRITE FIT: SUMMER POP-UP EDITION

Join us for an evening of creativity and community.

Wednesday evenings, monthly-ish. Slip into something that fits: your words, your style, your stories.

This summer, we’re taking Write Fit, an open writing women’s writing circle, beyond the boutique and into a series of inspiring studios and creative spaces around the Bay Area.

What it feels like

“Sipping pink bubbly, a group of us sat around the table, wrote, and shared. I like the synergy of it all.”— journalist Darya Mead

July Write Fit Salon

July 22, 6:30–8:30 PM
The Mission, San Francisco
1890 Bryant Street Studios, Suite 209

Our July gathering will be held at the studio of local artist Aondrea Maynard in the Mission, where we’ll be surrounded by art, inspiration, and creative energy.

We’ll write, connect, and deepen our connection to ourselves and one another. Afterward, we’ll share conversation, laughter, and explore a collection of her artwork, which, like our Free-Range Writing practice, dives into the depths.

⏳ Space is limited. Bring a friend who could use an evening of writing and good company.

✍️ To reserve your spot, Venmo $45 to @meesha-halm with “Write Fit” in the note. Registration is confirmed upon payment.

✨ Includes the writing workshop, drinks, and snacks.

✍️ 6:30–8:30 PM — Wild Writing™ Salon with Meesha Halm, Writing Coach & Story Doula, and Founder of Free-Range Writing Circles

The Write Fit salon is not your ordinary Wednesday night in the Mission. Each month, a small group of women gathers around a table to write and cultivate sisterhood. Using guided prompts to loosen even the most stubborn writer’s block, we write unapologetically, surprise ourselves on the page, and connect with others doing the same. No critique. No pressure. No prior writing experience required. Just honest writing, shared discovery, and the kind of support that emerges when women gather around a table and tell the truth.

How the writing salon works

If you’ve ever wanted to write but felt intimidated, short on time, or struggled to start, this salon is for you. Whether you’ve never written before or are looking for a way back to the page, this is your invitation.

We’ll begin with poetry and prompts, then move into two guided writing sessions. After each writing period, participants are invited to share their work in a supportive, critique-free space. Many women find this the most meaningful part of the evening.

Want to know what a Write Fit salon feels like? Journalist Darya Mead captured it beautifully in her feature on the salon.

What to bring

Notebook, your favorite pen, curiosity, and an open mind.

After the writing

When the writing ends, the evening stays open a little longer. Linger over a drink, enjoy the company and creative space before the night finds its end. A collection of dreamscapes, portals, and sanctuaries, along with reproductions on paper, glass, and metal — yours to take home if one finds you.
